So, you might find I'm obsessed with tulle, in all it's forms and shades. It never fails to give that dreamy feel.
And of course in evening gowns it can be very sophisticated if used the right way, that is. I made this emerald gown for a winter wedding, I used a simple stretch silk taffeta for the top and yards and yards of emerald fine tulle.
The result was a very early 60's, kind of deep "V" neckline and subtly gathered floor lenght skirt gown. Very suitable for a magical night. Can't go wrong with jewel toned dresses.
